Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary:

FOCUS Broadband seeks a Marketing Coordinator to contribute to the company’s dynamic marketing efforts actively. As part of our marketing team, you will use creative and strategic thinking to perform various time-sensitive tasks, including market research, data analysis, product promotion, and design for multiple media types. A successful Marketing Coordinator should enjoy managing processes from beginning to end, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position will require essential skills in social media, writing, editing, and design.

• Assist in attaining company marketing objectives and competitive position by developing market plans and strategies for new and existing services and products. Coordinates the implementation and/or oversees the implementation of strategies per company marketing objectives.
• Assists in the research of markets and preparation of marketing forecasts and service plans for market segments.
• Assists in planning, preparation, and execution of the design and publication of professional graphic artwork, including brochures, newsletters, displays, charts, graphs, maps, diagrams, billboards, transparencies, promotional materials, newspaper ads, local cable insertion ads, product packaging web pages, etc.
• Helps establish measurements and controls to continually monitor pricing strategies, sales volume, market penetration, and profits.
• Assists in preparing marketing reports for review by company management and/or Board of Directors.
• Assists in the placement of advertisements in various media while adhering to a budget.
• Attends tradeshows and community events to promote company marketing efforts.
• Must demonstrate the ability to think strategically to conduct marketing objectives for product roll-out, customer acquisition, revenue attainment, and customer retention.
• Ability to create innovative ideas for the promotion of company products and services.
• Ability to do research and present a precise summary of findings.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
• Good personal computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Keyboard speed & accuracy, etc.
• Skilled in graphic design programs including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PageMaker, and web page authoring tools, HTML, PageMaker, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or communications preferred or a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in marketing with an emphasis in product development, strategy, management, search engine marketing, and social media administration.
• Strong writing, statistical, and analytical skills are preferred.
