Focus is a photography and consumer electronics company based in Brooklyn. First founded in 1966, we have faithfully served the New York City metropolitan area for over fifty years. Our company employs over 175 people across three locations (Brooklyn HQ, NJ warehouse, NJ satellite office). This role is Executive Assistant to the COO. You will be responsible for maintaining the COO’s calendar and task lists but will also actively work on projects across every department. On those projects you may be asked to join the COO in meetings and follow up with colleagues on key tasks, represent the COO in meetings, or lead an entire project.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn about every facet of business. This is a fast-paced job, and you must be able to shift gears quickly while remaining on task. No job will be too small or too big. One moment you will be scheduling meetings and the next you will be giving a project update to the COO.

Responsibilities:
- Provide executive administrative support
- Maintain COO’s calendar and task lists.
- Generate reports and conduct basic review for business performance. Share finding with COO.
- Coordinate projects between all departments. Follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate relevant information to all team members and other departments, as necessary.
- Always looking for solutions and have the confidence and ability to implement solutions from beginning to end.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. In the role, you will be interacting with people of all backgrounds, skills and cultures and must know how effectively work with everyone.
Qualifications:
- Administrative experience, ideally supporting Director or above.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly Organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent follow-up skills.
- Interested in all aspects of business operations.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook.
- Comfortable with numbers and basic data analytics.
- Punctual and able to work full time.
- Project management experience a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
