Focus Church - Sanford Campus

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, plus health benefits

SUMMARY
The Sanford Campus Pastor will oversee the life and direction of the Sanford Campus, working under the guidance of the Lead Pastor. This role requires a deep understanding of Focus Church’s beliefs, values, and strategy, along with the ability to align campus staff and key leadership teams with its mission, vision, and values. The Campus Pastor will provide pastoral leadership, ensuring that the church’s systems, practices, and policies effectively support its ministry activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Campus Pastor is a Vision Aligner

• Promote unity across “one church at many locations” by embedding Focus Church’s culture and DNA into campus ministries, ensuring alignment with the church’s vision.
• Serve as the guardian of the campus’s ministry DNA and values.
• Act as the Chief Culture Advocate, reinforcing the campus’s connection to the broader Focus Church mission.

The Campus Pastor is a Team Leader

• Build and lead a team of equippers who multiply ministry efforts, communicating effectively with leadership.
• Provide regular updates, including wins, monthly activities, and challenges, through verbal and written debriefs with the Lead Pastor and monthly reports to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Recruit, train, and equip a ministry team of staff and volunteers to lead and grow key ministry areas.
• Schedule and lead monthly team meetings to connect leaders, evaluate progress, and coach development.

The Campus Pastor is the Congregational Leader

• Foster a sense of ownership among the congregation, driving vision-led growth that reflects Focus Church’s core values.
• Offer leadership, vision, pastoral care, counseling, and shepherding, with a passion for reaching the community and achieving campus growth.
• Build a personal and church presence in the surrounding community.
• Promote discipleship and spiritual growth by supporting and encouraging Life Group participation.
• Equip believers for evangelism and inspire them to share their faith.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to align diverse groups with a unified vision.
• Passion for pastoral care, community outreach, and discipleship.
• Experience in recruiting, training, and equipping ministry teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
