Our client is a leader in games development, looking to add a Technical Writer to their Austin, TX team.
Location: Austin, TX - hybrid
Duration: 12 month w2 contract - potential to extend or convert to FTE
Pay Rate: $40-60/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop, organize, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, and FAQs, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to gather technical details and translate complex concepts into user-friendly content.
- Review and update existing documentation to align with product updates, company standards, and user feedback.
Qualifications
- 2 years in technical writing for software development teams.
- Experience documenting apps in .NET and/or TypeScript would be ideal.
- Any development/coding experience would be a plus (such as personal projects)
