Job Title : Parking Enforcement Officer

Job Type : Part-Time, Hourly-Non-Exempt

Location : Denver, Colorado

Supervisor / Manager : Parking Manager

Pay Range : $18.81-$22.00 / hour

Job Overview :

Focus Parking Systems operates several parking lots in Downtown Denver, and we are currently looking for a self-motivated and responsible Parking Enforcement Officer to join our in-house Parking Management team.

As the Parking Enforcement Officer, you will work independently and provide a positive experience for all customers parking at our locations, whilst maintaining our properties to the highest standards of cleanliness and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, outstanding customer service skills and will be highly accountable.

Schedule :

Weekday and weekend availability required
Night shift availability is required.
Schedule will be determined on a weekly basis and is subject to change based on business needs.
Morning enforcement shift from 9 : 00am.
Evening enforcement shift from 8 : 00pm with additional enforcement from 10 : 00pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

What you’ll do to make a difference :

Provide excellent customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies. Immediately report issues related to customer or client experience to Management.

Issue citations for non-compliance of parking regulations and ordinances with a smart device. Boot or relocate vehicles as directed.

Work with Parking Manager to update lot signage to reflect current pricing.

Keep all lots clean, organized, and presentable.

Assist in the collection and security of all monies received through parking meters and any othermeans of collecting parking revenues and fees.

Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment and facility upkeep and maintenance. This includes but is not limited to : inspecting and assessing lots for maintenance issues, painting, cleaning and repairing parking meters and pay and display machines, installing signs, sign posts and meter posts.

Assist event staff with activities related to parking for events. This includes but is not limited to : setting up for events, traffic control, flagging, receipt of payment for parking, and lot usage control.

Education / Experience :

High School diploma or GED.

Parking enforcement experience a plus.

Work Environment :

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Occasionally required to bend and sit.

Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions. Employees are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including snowstorms, and extreme heat

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 35 pounds.
