We are searching for field crew members who are interested in a long-term, fulfilling career in construction staking and surveying. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, advance your career, and participate in the building of a team. You don't need any prior experience, as we will provide you with comprehensive and specialized training.

- Ability to reliably commute to our Midvale office (we use company trucks only to drive to job sites).

Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various tools and equipment, including total stations and GPS devices.
- Collect and analyze data to create accurate survey maps and reports.
- Utilize ArcGIS software to process and interpret survey data.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure accurate land measurements for project planning and land development.
- Through visiting job sites, assist in collecting and documenting data on the property and providing accurate information that will be used to create maps, establish the property boundaries, and identify construction elements for contractors, designers, and engineers.
- Collecting data on the job site will require unpacking, carrying, and packing heavy survey equipment, clearing brush, hiking, and being outdoors for extended periods in all kinds of weather under the direction of a Crew Chief.
- Responsibilities also include preparing the company trucks with the necessary supplies, carrying staking supplies, hammering in stakes, and other staking procedures.
- Other various surveying duties include topographical surveys, vertical and horizontal monitoring, analyzing plans, and assisting with the completion of plats and ALTA surveys.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to clients.
- Adopt and apply our defined quality control review process to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Build relationships with project managers and professional engineers to collaborate and problem-solve on a variety of projects.
- With clear and concise communication, coordinate with a variety of individuals involved in the development process.
- Will be expected to participate in department goal setting and accomplishment, book reviews, and personal and team development.
Pay: $18 per hour, DOE
Schedule: 8 hour day shift, Monday to Friday, No weekends, Overtime Available
