What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Shift Registered Polysomnographic Technologist position at Focus Health Management?
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Day Shift Registered Polysomnographic Technologist at Focus Sleep Centers, working with multiple locations in a variety of capacities. Most onsite work can be conducted in our Southaven and / or Germantown sleep labs but may occasionally be required to travel to other labs managed by Focus Health Management. Mileage and accommodations will be paid by the company per company policy.
Example of duties include :
- Reviewing sleep study results (in lab and home sleep studies)
- Sending sleep study reports to referring physicians
- Communicating with appropriate team to schedule for titration or results review appointments
- Preparing physician reports in EMR for interpretation
- Uploading HST reports in EMR
- Maintaining timely logs for accuracy and patient compliance
- Scoring studies according to established protocols and preparing reports
- Troubleshooting issues with physician reports, study data, etc.
- Creating DME orders and monitoring prompt setup and initiation of therapy
