Summary
As a Payroll Manager at Premier Hospitality Management, you will play a vital role in overseeing payroll operations for our diverse hotel portfolio. This position is essential to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while contributing to our commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees across multiple hotel locations.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and company policies.
- Analyze payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounting related to payroll activities.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
- Utilize payroll software (e.g., ADP) for efficient processing and reporting.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee records and compensation data.
Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll management or a related field, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for data accuracy.
- Familiarity with payroll software systems; experience with Paychex is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
