Focus on the Family is a Christian non-profit media ministry that offers practical, everyday help to families at every age and stage of their journey. We encourage kids and adults to grow in their faith; we prepare men and women for marriage and show them how to cherish one another for a lifetime; we provide training and support for moms and dads so they can navigate real-time parenting challenges; and we stand up for all human life, from conception to natural death. The Advocacy for Children department empowers individuals to believe and act on the truth of our God-given humanity. Through understanding and compassion, we can inspire others to see the immense value of life in all its forms. As an intern, you will help us connect and engage with our audience in meaningful ways through social media, website blog posts and special projects illuminating a path forward of kindness and support that honors our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities - What does a day in the life look like?
- Edit and create a campaign for National Foster Care Month
- Build a social media campaign for upcoming pro-life events
- Help create swag items related to social media campaigns
- Revise older articles with updated links and edits
- Create new graphics for older Advocacy for Children articles using brand guidelines
- Participate in the Suitcase Bundle Program coordination and potentially work with recipients

This position is an intern position only. There will be no compensation or pay with this position, but a $3500 honorarium, workday lunch, and housing for out-of-town students will be provided.
Only upperclassmen college students need apply for the summer internship.
