Title : Plastics Process Engineer

Primary Responsibilities :

Evaluate injection molding process and tooling for improvement of quality and efficiency.
Participate in new tool design reviews and recommend improvements to optimize molding, setup, and overall manufacturing.
Develop and document injection molding process parameters for new and existing thermoset and thermoplastic molds.
Troubleshoot molding processes and material issues.
Collect and analyze data for process improvements

Minimum Requirements :

College degree and / or equivalent combination of education and

experience in Plastics / Plastics Technology.

5 years hands-on experience with plastic mold tooling.

Broad range of plastic materials

Skills :

Working knowledge of a wide range of thermoplastic and thermoset materials and their properties.

Familiarity with injection molding processing.

Technical knowledge of injection molding machines and related equipment.

Self-motivated.

Excellent problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
