Focus Search Partners has been engaged with a client and they are in search of a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for their $150M manufacturing company based in Charlotte. This will be a pivotal role reporting directly to the CFO and will lead a team of 8-10 finance leaders. This role calls for a strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with meticulous execution, contributing to the organization's financial success and long-term growth.
We’re seeking a candidate with a background in manufacturing finance, strong analytical and strategic capabilities, and a track record of supporting operational and financial excellence.
Candidate Experience Requirements & Engagement Details:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business required.
- Seven to ten years’ minimum relevant finance experience (preferably within a manufacturing environment).
- Master’s Degrees in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Skilled in financial analysis, detail-oriented, and proficient in building and using complicated data sources, financial modeling, and multi-year projections.
- Strong analytical thinker and advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A team leader, team builder, team player with a track record in formulating effective policies and procedures, developing and implementing operational plans, and new strategies.
- A solid understanding of system and business processes, as well as manufacturing financial issues.
- Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) – both financial and operational.
- Excellent communications skills – including written, oral, presentation and listening.
