Job Description
A travel Echo Technologist position is available at a client facility in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures.
- Works under the direction of the Manager, Ultrasound Services, Medical Director of Vascular Laboratory and Radiology Department, and Administrative Director for the Department of Surgery and Radiology.
Requirements
- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
- National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent if applicable.
- License by the state regulatory agency if applicable.
- Effective communication skills, human relations skills, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech).
