Travel Mammography Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Travel Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammography procedures in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Certified Mammography Tech and excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare patient areas for mammography procedures by positioning patients, adjusting equipment, and maintaining exposure factors.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation protocols.
- Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Mammography Tech.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program and proper licensure.
- AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
