Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Professional to join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Specialist for a 13-week travel assignment in Rockport, Maine.
- This role requires a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures using technical knowledge and good judgment to provide safe and effective examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examination Preparation: Acquire and process patient studies, set up readings for physicians, and maintain accurate daily records of diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate individual leadership skills, practice professionalism, and participate in performance improvement activities at the departmental level.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers, including staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for department efficiency and waste reduction, and implement performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
- A motivated candidate looking for career growth in medical imaging.
- AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- BSN from an accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Work Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine (Certified Nuclear Medicine) is required for this role.
