Travel MRI Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Licensed MRI Technologist for a travel job in Safety Harbor, Florida.
Job Summary
This is a 13-week contract assignment requiring a minimum of two years of recent experience as a MRI Technologist with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures and be able to learn applications relevant to the position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.
- Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address patient concerns.
- Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed circuit TV.
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
- Licensed MRI Technologist with at least two years of recent experience.
- Proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- Knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
- Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
