Focus Staff is seeking a Medical Assistant who is highly motivated and energetic.
Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)
Shift : 5x8 Days

Requirements :
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Current CPR Certification.
Certified through ASCP.
CPR Certified.
2 years working in a Medical Assistant capacity is preferred.
Work Experience : At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities :
Prepare patient for examination by assessing condition, taking vital signs, and / or documenting medical record.
May assist Physician and / or technician with procedure(s).
Monitor response to treatment and medication.
Document patient results. Administer medication and / or injections.
Setup IV if necessary.
Perform routine laboratory functions such as obtaining specimens and ordering analysis.
Assist with front office duties as needed.
