At Focus Staff, we are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse to join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. This contract assignment will be based in Fishersville, Virginia.
About the Job
This is a 13-week temporary position that requires a certified Labor & Delivery RN with at least two years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a passion for delivering quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess, implement, or delegate nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy.
- Provide and direct patient care for a group of patients.
- Relate effectively with other shifts/departments for optimal continuity of care.
- Perform routine duties independent of supervision but consults with others as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN (Certified Labor & Delivery RN)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
