Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
In this position, you will be responsible for learning how to set up, operate, and maintain at least two machines within this job classification.
Duties
- Gain proficiency in the operation of the machines involved, including mechanics, programming, and safety protocols.
- Print, read, and comprehend company policies, procedures, and job tickets. - Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills.
- Meet the production rates established for the department.
- Conduct routine quality checks and document results to ensure consistency.
- Develop a general understanding of the processes that take place before and after the function being performed.
QUALIFICATIONS**
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to apply basic math and measuring skills.
- Strong organizational skills to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding written and verbal instructions.
- Capability to demonstrate leadership skills when supervising helpers on machines.
- Effective and professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with individuals inside and outside the organization.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per shift regularly.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends.
