Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in electrical construction
- Demonstrates leadership abilities with capability to grow
- Exhibits thorough understanding of assigned scope of work
- Shows aptitude for learning blueprints and contract-related documents
- Able to learn BlueBeam, Navisworks, and related programs
- Participates in leadership training
- Demonstrates above-average leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Equipped with necessary tools and able to use them
- Able to work project schedules including weekends and overtime
- Ability to understand oral and written instructions; ability to talk and hear
- Compliance with dress code and personal appearance policies
- To perceive or comprehend by sense of sight; must be able to see small objects and small print
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods
- Ability to manipulate materials and equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to move up or mount using hands or feet
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, performing installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems while ensuring quality work meets the highest standards
- Lead and mentor team members on-site
- Work alongside the crew to ensure high-quality work
- Assist in developing effective manpower schedules
- Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands
- Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding project requirements
- Ensure all work adheres to local and NEC guidelines
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using hand tools and devices
- Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, circuit, and feeder conductors
- Demonstrate working knowledge of circuitry
- Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics
- Recognizes work outside of assigned scope
- Demonstrates basic communication skills with other trades and negotiating work assignments
