Key Responsibilities
- Reading and Interpreting Plans: Understanding and executing construction plans, drawings, and blueprints.
- Build-Outs: Oversee and manage the construction of restaurant build-outs, from start to finish.
- Close-Outs/Punch Lists: Ensure that the job sites are completed to specifications and manage the close-out process for all projects.
- On-Site Management: Manage on-site labor, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project timelines.
- Project Reporting: Regularly report on the status of projects, issues encountered, and the progress made towards completion.
- Experience in construction (preferably in commercial or residential construction).
- A degree in building science or a related field (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering) preferred.
- Understanding of construction processes and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in managing commercial construction projects from start to finish a plus.
- Deep understanding of building plans, schedules, and closeout processes a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams of workers a plus.
- Experience with fast-food restaurant builds is preferred but not required.
