Position: Grades 1 and 3 Teachers
Rate: Up to $45/hour
Reports to: Principal
Focused Staffing Group is seeking highly qualified and certified Grade 1 and Grade 3 Teachers for our partner school in Danville, VA.
GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Under the supervision of the Principal, plan, organize, and implement appropriate instructional programs in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Instruct students according to the appropriate curriculum that includes assessment and review processes.
- Plan, develop, write, and implement lesson plans in keeping with school district and state education requirements, keeping records of student achievement and tracking their abilities.
- Work in collaboration with staff and other teachers.
- Comply with and enforce school rules and school board policies and procedures. Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on committees as appropriate.
- Perform other school duties and assignments as appointed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with appropriate endorsement.
Salary : $40 - $45
