Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
COMPENSATION : Pays up to $72 per hour
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our partner school. The BCBA will provide consultation and training, conduct behavioral evaluations, and develop / implement behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits. The BCBA will act as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and educational assessments to accurately identify the function of challenging behaviors and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to target.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with school staff, providing training to implement effective applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Provide ongoing support and training to related field staff, ensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional growth.
- Investigate concerns and provide coaching and disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Develop behavior goals according to the needs and abilities of the student.
- Determine prevention, intervention, and consequence strategies utilizing non-aversive behavior change methods.
- Collect, analyze, and report data and other documentation within established time frames to ensure program validity and efficacy per contract guidelines.
- Attend and present behavioral progress at IEP meetings.
- Act as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting.
