The ideal candidate will be patient and understanding when working with students who require extra support, adaptable and flexible in response to changing circumstances, and proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor students in an inclusive classroom setting
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues for seamless co-teaching experiences
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification
- Experience in co-teaching settings preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and aptitude for assigned responsibilities
- Additional qualifications as deemed acceptable by the Board
