Position: Paraprofessional (SPED)
UP TO $25/hour
What You'll Do:
You'll play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, working closely with the classroom teacher to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the implementation of instructional programs in reading, writing, mathematics, and other subjects
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to reinforce concepts and skills
- Helping students stay on task and implement accommodations outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Supporting positive behavior and helping students develop essential social skills
- Collaborating with teachers and the Child Study Team to ensure student success

- Experience working with children (preferred)
- ABA experience (preferred)
- Teacher Certification (preferred)
- Willingness to ride the bus
- A valid New Jersey Criminal Background Check and CPR/AED Certification (required)
- CPI Certification (preferred)
