What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (Per Hour/Per Diem) position at Focused Staffing?
The ideal candidate will conduct assessments to evaluate student's speech, language, and communication abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, and provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings. This position also involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs, monitor students' progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. The candidate will also maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required)
- Experience completing speech evaluations (required)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check Clearance
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Criminal Background Clearance
