Position Summary :

The Workspace Associate is part of the Distribution Center team. This role contributes to the success of the company by following a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule of responsibilities to ensure the building is maintained, organized, and clean. The Workspace Associate supports our vision by being dedicated and committed to versatility and excellence in repair and maintenance activities.

Additional Information :

This is a permanent full-time hourly position at $15.00 hourly

Full-Time schedule is Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM

Our distribution center is located at 3151 Northwest 125th St. Miami, FL 33167

This position is based in a warehouse environment, teamwork and efficiency are essential

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this role, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The team member frequently is required to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The team member is frequently required to sit; The team member must regularly lift, move and / or push up to 50 pounds. The team member must occasionally lift, move and / or push up to 80 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat.

Major Duties Include :

Safety & Maintenance :

Responsible for all items listed on daily, monthly and bi-yearly DC maintenance list

Ensures floor scrubber is operational and functioning properly

Keeps entryways, hallways, and grounds neat and free of debris

Informs direct supervisor on any maintenance or safety needs, such as non-working lights, A / C, leaking faucets, etc.

Cleaning :

Cleans / buffers floors with floor scrubber bimonthly

Sweeps and mops interior floors as needed

Empties receptacles throughout the building, disposes of trash and changes bags

Maintains and cleans all appliances, including refrigerators, coffee machines, microwaves, toasters, and drinking fountains

Refills bathroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap and hand sanitizer

Disinfect desks, doorknobs, door handles, and telephones throughout the offices

Maintains and cleans lunchroom, kitchens, meeting areas, and offices

Maintains and cleans all bathroom toilets, sinks, and floors by scrubbing with cleaning solution and water

Refills kitchen supplies, including paper towels, soap, utensils, disposable plates and other items

Maintains all areas by cleaning and dusting all fixtures and polishes furniture with pledge

Spot cleans and wipe all walls, cabinets, and door frames to remove stains

Maintains the organization of storage space and utility closet

Clears out and cleans fridge bi-weekly

Other Duties :

Assists with container offloading and any other warehouse duties as needed

Prepares coffee and Gatorade daily

Dusts all the box tops as needed

Contributes to department teamwork by demonstrating strong time and attendance records, especially during month-end

Records personal daily punches and approves accurate bi-weekly time and attendance records

Actively participates in all one-on-one and group meetings

Promotes our FOH® Culture in all interactions

Education, Experience & Computer Skills :

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year' experience in janitorial, laborer or related

Must be able to tolerate working in a high-heat environment

The salary / hourly range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including, but not limited to, work experience, territory, geographical location, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
