Position Summary:
The Forklift Operator is part of the Distribution Center team. This role contributes to the success of the company by completing all inventory logistic procedures to maximize the turnaround time of order fulfillment. The role supports our vision by being dedicated and committed to versatility and excellence in all we produce.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent full-time hourly position at $16.00 hourly
- This role participates in our onsite schedule
- Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Our distribution center is located at 3151 Northwest 125th St. Miami, FL 33167
- This position is based in a warehouse environment, where teamwork and efficiency are essential

Major Duties Include:
- Completes all daily transactions including bin replenishments, pending replenishments, activities, inter-company transfers, and production orders to maximize order cycle time
- Updates perpetual inventory to reflect the accurate movement of inventory within the DC, by entering transfers on the handheld
- Unloads containers, verifies quantity and items according to the packing list, and receives into handheld
- Consolidates bin locations freeing up bins for inbound products
- Follows forklift safety guidelines daily and ensures equipment is properly charged for the next day’s activities
- Completes daily forklift checklist and submits to the direct supervisor
- Reports any equipment issues or safety concerns to their direct supervisor promptly
- Reconciles staging bins 01pick01 and 01ship01 daily (bin with canceled orders, discontinued or overstock items)
- Optimizes first-in-first out (FIFO) inventory management for pick bin locations when completing bin replacements and transfers
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment in assigned aisles or areas
- Records personal daily punches and approves accurate bi-weekly time and attendance records
- Actively participates in all one-on-one and group meetings
- Promotes our FOH® Culture in all interactions
Education, Experience & Computer Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse environment or related
- Minimum of 1 year' experience using sitting and standing forklift
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and handheld devices
- Must be able to tolerate working in a high-heat environment
- Basic understanding of computer programs

Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this role, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The team member frequently is required to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The team member is frequently required to sit; The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Team Members may also need to pull or push 800lbs pallet jacks.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat.

The salary/hourly range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including, but not limited to, work experience, territory, geographical location, etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
