Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management principles, and the ability to foster effective relationships with stakeholders. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to drive projects forward while ensuring quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Project Planning :
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site evaluations to identify potential challenges.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to define project specifications and requirements.
- Create and manage detailed project timelines, identifying critical milestones and deliverables.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers.
2. Project Execution :
Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with project plans, safety standards, and regulations.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other external parties to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.Implement quality control procedures to ensure work meets the required standards and specifications.Manage project risks and address any issues or changes in scope promptly.3. Project Completion :
Conduct final inspections and ensure all project deliverables meet quality and contractual standards.Oversee the completion of all necessary documentation, including as-built drawings and compliance certificates.Facilitate project handover to the client, ensuring all requirements are met and that the client is satisfied with the completed project.4. Leading Teams & Building Relationships :
Lead, mentor, and manage project team members, including site supervisors, engineers, and administrative staff. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.Communicate effectively with all parties involved, ensuring transparency and clarity on project goals, progress, and changes.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, address concerns, and set priorities..Represent the company at meetings, site visits, and industry events, promoting a positive image and fostering new business opportunities.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes. OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Benefits :
