Bellperson - Guest Relations/Concierge

Farmhouse Inn is looking for a Bell person to become a part of the team for this incomparable luxury boutique hotel of 25 rooms and suites with its restaurant and farm-to-table spa. Warmly welcome guests to Farmhouse Inn Embody and deliver warm and professional service Assist guests in bringing luggage and belongings to and from their guest rooms Provide guest with a "rundown" and tour of functions and features in their guest room Assist concierge team as needed to provide guests with exceptional service quality Deliver guest amenities to guest rooms and prepare refreshment packages as needed- maintain current and unexpired CA Food Handler Certificate Provide a helping hand to the housekeeping team with weekly linen inventory and restocking Help maintain public areas near pool, reception, and guest pathways so guests see a snapshot of perfection at all times Respond promptly to any inquiries from guests, or route the inquiries immediately to the correct party Use the house car to drive to and from local businesses to assist with guest related "errands" as needed- maintain current and unexpired CA Driver's License and auto insurance Open arriving packages and deliver to correct departments Set up for daily, evening "wine hour" Establish and maintain positive relationship with guests to promote loyalty and repeat business Ensure front of house arrival area is a snapshot of perfection at all times General Requirements: Education: High School Degree or equivalent  Experience: Experience in hospitality or related guest service environment Qualifications: Excellent customer service and hospitality skills  Excellent oral & written communication skills, attention to detail Basic knowledge of electronic communication platforms (Outlook email, time keeping system, Microsoft Word etc.) Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, with composure Teamwork attitude- Ability to work interdepartmentally, with Restaurant, Kitchen, Spa and other Farmhouse teams Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time and complies with Farmhouse Inn standards Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs, weekend & holiday availability is mandatory Current and unexpired CA Driver's License and auto insurance is a plus but is not mandatory to be successful in this position Physical Requirements: Pushing & Pulling: up to 50lbs frequently Lifting & Carrying: average weight 50lbs frequently Standing & Walking: constantly Kneeling & Bending: frequently Climbing: occasional use of foot stools; frequent use of stairs Reaching: constantly Sitting: occasionally Driving: occasionally    Pay Range: The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour Gratuity. This is the pay for this position that Farmhouse Inn reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
