House Attendant - Housekeeping

Please note that the listed examples do not include all tasks, which maybe expected within this job position.Ensure customer satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and pool areaaccording to operational policies and standardsClean public bathrooms and meeting spacesRemove accumulated trash and debris from guest rooms and public areasPerform laundry service: washing, drying, folding of linens, towels, and guest requestedlaundry serviceAid in putting away weekly linen deliveryEnsure that all corridors and housekeeping storage closets are in impeccable conditionAssist Housekeepers with guest room set up for arrivals and clean up for departuresReplenish and deliver room amenities as neededReport unusual circumstances to Housekeeping ManagerReport maintenance requests and replacement orders as neededTurn in articles left in rooms to Front Desk office for “Lost and Found” processingAssist in weekly cleaning the kitchen, restaurant, and admin officesUtilize chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safetydata sheetsAct with a sense of urgency and a mindset that guests needs are priority General Requirements:Education:  High School Degree or equivalent Experience:Previous experience in hotel housekeeping department or related cleaning service Qualifications:Excellent oral and written communication skillsBasic knowledge of electronic communications (time clock, e-mail, etc)Excellent attention to detailExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, with composureMust be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in theworkplace. Knowledge of Spanish language is preferredMust be able to speak and understand the primary language used by the guests whovisit the hotelMaintains regular attendance, is consistently on time and complies with Farmhouse InnstandardsScheduling flexibility to meet operational needs, weekend & holiday availability ismandatory Physical Requirements:Pushing/Pulling: Average weight 40lbs - frequentlyLifting/Carrying: Average weight 40lbs - frequentlyClimbing: occasional use of foot stoolsStanding/Walking: constantlyKneeling/Bending: frequentlyReaching: constantlySitting: infrequentlyAble to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
