Pool Server - Farmstand

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:The job duties listed below are an overview of the essential duties and measures required to be successfulin the position. Act with a senseof urgency and a mindset that guests needs are priority.Observe guests frequently to ensure satisfaction, respond courteously to any guest request.Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and any changes.Take guest orders accurately, communicating any dietary restrictions or allergies to the kitchen.Monitor the quality of all food served/all areas visible to guests and maintain “snapshot ofperfection” at all times.Up-sell when possible, to help meet daily revenue goals.Set up, restock, maintain, and clean food serving and preparation areas.Maintain current and valid California Food Handler Certificate and RBS Certificate.Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, and county regulations and laws that pertainto possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION:High School Degree or equivalent EXPERIENCE:Previous experience at a hotel or high traffic restaurant as a waiter/waitress. QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.Excellent oral & written communication skills, attention to detail.Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and interdepartmentally, withRestaurant, Kitchen, Spa and other Farmhouse teams.Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time and complies with Farmhouse Innstandards.Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs, weekend & Holiday availability is mandatory.Shift: Days & Evenings PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodationPushing/Pulling: Up to 20lbs frequently and 50lbs - occasionallyLifting/Carrying: Average weight 30lbs – frequentlyStanding/Walking: ConstantlyKneeling/Bending: FrequentlyReaching: ConstantlyAble to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time (up to 5 hours) minusapplicable rest breaks/periods.Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions, including elements such as sun, wind,etc. PAY RANGE:The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour Tips. This is the pay for this positionthat Farmhouse Inn reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
