Job Summary:
MacArthur Place is looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant who takes pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we’d love to have you on our team!
What You’ll Do:
Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming, and replacing linens.
Disinfect bathrooms, restock toiletries, and remove trash to ensure hygiene and guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness in hallways, storage closets, and public areas as assigned.
Assist in deep-cleaning projects, such as carpet shampooing and furniture polishing.
Respect guest privacy and follow the hotel's "Do Not Disturb" policies.
Restock housekeeping carts with fresh linens, towels, and supplies.
Work closely with housekeeping supervisors and team members to ensure efficient room turnovers.
Report to supervisor or manager all guest concerns, lost & found guest items, maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, and sanitation protocols, as well as hotel policies and procedures to include security, dress code, attendance, professionalism and conduct.
Assist anyone who needs help and perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For:
No prior experience required, but previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and efficiently under time constraints.
Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Physical ability to bend, lift, push, pull, walk, and stand for extended periods.
Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions and temperatures.
