What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Leader with Appliance Installation position at Foley Hardware Co?
Foley Hardwware is excited to grow our team! We have an opening for one full time Customer Service Leader.
As a member of our team, you will never have the same day twice, but your typical day will always include:
· Creating a welcoming experience by authentically greeting every customer every time.
· Making connections and building relationships with customers by engaging in friendly and genuine conversation throughout each transaction; asking open ended questions about the guest’s shopping experience and using those questions to assess, understand, and determine how to tailor your approach.
· Saying thank you after each interaction with customers.
- Selling, delivering and installing major appliances such as refrigerators, ranges and laundry. This requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to lift using carts and with assistance lift up to 400 pounds. Interview preference will go to people who have these skills and we will keep the position open until the candidate with correct skills is found.
· Ensuring product is stocked and available for a seamless customer experience.
· Providing product knowledge and advice in the plumbing, electrical, hardware and outdoor power equipment departments while providing support in all other areas of the store.
· Proactively maintaining departments, including promotional and pricing materials
· Accurately handling cash register operations, reconciliations, and deposits.
· Scanning, handling, and moving merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 30 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
· Arriving on time for a flexible work schedule (e.g., evenings, rotating weekends, and holidays)
· Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
