The Marketing Technology Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and analysis of data stored within Foley’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This position will also support the firm’s email marketing system and experience database, and responsibilities include ensuring complete and accurate data in the appropriate systems of record, starting with our CRM system. This person must have keen attention to detail and good judgment to help review and consolidate duplicative data and create technology solutions to maintain data over time through automation and where necessary, manual processes. The Specialist should be highly focused on finding ways to use strategic data to give Foley & Lardner a competitive advantage in the legal industry as this is a critical role where outcomes could help impact strategic decision making at the firm.

Responsibilities
- Handles data clean-up for data in the CRM system, leveraging all tools at our disposal
- Develops best practices guidelines for entering data into the system
- Interprets functional needs and works with developers to ensure appropriate system configuration and modification changes
- Enters data into the system provided by lawyers or other team members on the Business Development and Marketing team
- Ensures system controls are in place to help preserve and enhance the overall quality of data
- Creates and runs reports on a regular basis to provide updated data to various departments
- Creates, manages, and follows data standards, processes and procedures
- Identifies the appropriate data sources for research to ensure accuracy
- Researches and resolves conflicting information
- Communicates with end users to assist in validating information
- Commits to high standards for data quality
- Strives for precision, accuracy and efficiency
- Establishes best practices for data analysis and analytics that ensure ongoing use of data to drive strategic business decisions
- Looks for, implements, and uses tools that help better analyze data available for strategic marketing
- Develops system reports using built-in CRM functionality as well as tools such as PowerBI for visualizing data output
- Provides superior customer service to end users
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with reporting on data and analytics required
- Experience working with CRM systems strongly preferred
- Professional services firm experience preferred
