The Accounting & Finance (Tax) internship is a paid opportunity designed to provide a student with development experience and challenging objectives. As an intern, you will work on a variety of tax projects including, but not limited to, tax capital calculations, tax filings, paperless files and other ad hoc tasks, etc.
Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of accounting and finance projects with a focus on partnership tax returns
- Assist tax department on process improvement and automation for sales and use tax filings
- Work with quarterly depreciation and fixed assets review
- Identify and resolve federal and state technical tax issues
- Assist in the preparation of tax workpapers and returns
- Review data input
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- Must be an upcoming junior or senior with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
Pursuant to Illinois Pay Equity Act the anticipated hourly rate for this role is $18-$22 dollars per hour.
