Position Summary:
The Load Checker will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate and complete. You will work closely with the plant operations team to verify the contents of each shipment and ensure that they are properly labeled and packaged. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the smooth and timely delivery of our products to our customers.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Verify the contents of outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Label and package shipments according to company standards
- Print load & delivery tickets
- Check BOL's and enter them into system
- Assist with monthly/year end raw material inventories
- Fill out raw material usage forms
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments
- Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the workplace
- Email communications
- Check truck loads for accuracy/damage
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the precast and concrete industry is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Forklift certification
- Experience working within Titan and/or Maestro a plus
