Maintenance - Night Shift 6 p - 6 a

Job Description

Columbus Quarry, LLC, a division of The Concrete Company, is looking for experienced plant maintenance technicians for our 6:00 pm - 6:00 am ET Shift - up to $30 per hour plus shift differential based on experience, eligible for quarterly production bonus.

What You Will Do

• Perform repairs and maintenance throughout the plant including screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes and water pump service. Perform cutting, grinding and welding as needed.
• Perform daily inspections and proactive maintenance of plant equipment
• Maintain service and lubrication reports to ensure preventive maintenance is current
• Other duties as assigned to assist with the operation of the plant including, but not limited to, cleaning, washing, sweeping and shoveling materials.

Required Experience

What You Need:

• Plant maintenance experience in the aggregate/quarry or construction industry is required
• Knowledge of general principles/practices of industrial maintenance, construction or aggregate/quarry is required
• Cutting, grinding, and welding experience is required
• Able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer/company demands.
• Able to work outside in all types of weather conditions
• Have working knowledge of industrial tools, their uses and maintenance.
• Ability to work individually and as a team to accomplish tasks.
