Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment, with a focus on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems, including 480 VAC 3 Phase electrical distribution systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts for effective troubleshooting.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks, including MIG and Stick welding, for equipment repairs, modifications, and concrete form maintenance.
- Utilize hand tools to carry out mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
- Operate man lifts, forklifts, and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with OEM technical support teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues related to concrete production machinery.
- Read and comprehend maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical documents to perform necessary maintenance with minimal supervision.
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of PLC systems and remote I/O modules.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
- Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with MIG and Stick welding, fabrication, and metalworking.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use various hand tools for repairs.
- Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment.
- Experience working with concrete production equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, especially when coordinating with OEM technical support teams.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex equipment issues with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical Certification or Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- OSHA, Forklift, or Man Lift Certification is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/industrial setting with exposure to loud noises, moving machinery, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to work on-call, weekends, or overtime as needed.
