RN (Part Time) - Clinical Research

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the clinical research staff at Dr. John Grimaldi's urology clinic in Chula Vista, CA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients enrolled in clinical trials and will act as a sub-investigator for the studies.

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the study protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the physician.
• Assist with IV infusion therapy and other specialized procedures like collecting blood samples via a saline lock IV.
• Place urinary catheter without complication. Familiarity with collecting urine specimens, and administering medications via bladder instillation via urinary catheter.
• Support the clinical research coordinator and physician as needed.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to conduct clinical trial activities.
• Attend meetings with study sponsors and contract research organizations.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a RN
• Experience with IV infusion therapy in outpatient setting
• Experience with placing urinary catheters and administering investigational product via bladder instillation.
• Previous experience at a clinical research site
• Familiarity with ICH-GCP and clinical trial regulatory requirements

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
