Folklore Event Rentals is a really rad rental company looking for an energetic, hardworking and self motivated team player to join our Catalog Team. The Catalog Inventory Prep is responsible for pulling, polishing, and packing tabletop orders in preparation for events and to support rental-ready initiatives. This role also includes restocking, maintaining accurate inventory counts, processing check-ins, and performing dishwashing duties. Success in this position requires a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized candidate who enjoys working independently.

Hours : 8 : 30AM-5 : 00PM

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Pull inventory, polish inventory, pack securely for transport, label on prep-line.
- Ensure that pulled orders are accurate by adding crates and racks to count orders.
- Label and stage items for will-call pick ups.
- Check-in returning orders, count each item and document / list any missing or damaged items.
- Perform dishwashing duties and follow proper sanitary procedures.
- Wash, spot treat and iron linens and napkins.
- Routinely wash & disinfect crates
- Conduct a final inspection of all packed catalog before storage to ensure standards are met.
- Conduct routine physical counts of inventory items as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of inventory and storage location of each inventory item
- Refill cleaning supplies with cleaning products and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Regularly inspect and clean the commercial equipment such as dishwasher, washer / dryer, polisher, etc.
- Assemble boxes as needed and breakdown boxes and discard on a regular basis
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, e.g. sweeping, disposal of trash, wiping down surfaces, etc.
- Immediately communicate with the supervisor if sufficient inventory can not be located, or is in un-repairable condition.
- Maintain positive professional relationships with administrative staff and ownership
- Report areas of improvements in safety and quality control
