What are the responsibilities and job description for the Record Store Clerk position at Folklore?
Job Overview
We are looking for a person that loves music, has a curiosity about music, loves to talk about music and likes to clean things, namely records.
You must be upbeat, friendly, engaging and able to leave assumptions about people at the door. We are a very inclusive business!
You may also be asked to work at the Annex two blocks away.
Duties
- Maintain and organize vinyl records.
- Carry up to 40 pounds.
- Clean lots of records.
- Track requests and needed inventory.
- Assist with seating and talking to people about the record store and the restaurant.
- Utilize cash handling skills when processing payments or transactions related to record sales.
- Engage in upselling services or products as appropriate during customer interactions.
- Experience in restaurants is also a bonus.
- To desire to be cross trained is a triple bonus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
