We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Host to create memorable first and last impressions for our guests. This individual will set the tone for the guest experience, showcasing warmth and professionalism while guiding guests to their seats and assisting them throughout their visit and sending them off with a wish. The Host plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guests have a welcoming and enjoyable time at our venue.
We are looking for a part time host who will earn in average $20.00-$24.00 / hour when including tips!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet all visitors with a friendly welcome and extend a warm farewell upon each departure.
- Introduce guests to the Wine Garden layout and options for seating and experiences.
- Escort guests to appropriate seats.
- Ensures that the Wine Educator is aware of guest presence.
- Manages daily reservations & delegates service through use of the Tock reservation system.
- Set up a water dish and dog treats if the guest is accompanied by a dog.
- Contact appropriate staff if a visitor has an appointment.
- Knowledge of on-site events in order to direct guests where to be.
- Assist with side work as needed, such as stuffing envelopes or cleaning workspaces.
- Responsible for opening and closing the host/hostess stand.
- Frequently sanitize surfaces and other related cleaning duties.
- Engage on Paylocity, the company’s human resources platform.
- Monitor restrooms throughout the shift, ensuring cleanliness and all supplies are stocked.
- Assist with answering phones and making and canceling reservations for guests.

Job Requirements
- Maintain friendly and professional demeanor in a fast paced environment.
- Must be 21 as this role will involve the serving of alcohol.
- Ability to work holidays and weekends.
- Excellent customer service.
Physical Requirements
- The ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours), walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, climb, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds is required.
- This position also requires continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills, and the ability to clearly speak, hear, see, and adjust focus.
