Position Overview
We are seeking a Retail HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support to our retail operations. The ideal candidate will act as a consultant to their respective business group, align HR practices with business objectives, and drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, development and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnering: Work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Employee Relations: Partner with leaders and employee relations to mitigate or resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances to maintain a positive work environment.
- Talent Management: Deliver talent management initiatives, focused on retention, and development programs to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Performance Management: Drive performance management initiatives and processes to drive a culture of accountability, ensure employee success and productivity and satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, reducing legal risks and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Training and Development: In partnership with Learning & Development, design and deliver training programs to address skill gaps and support employee growth.
- Data Analysis: Analyze HR metrics and trends to build strategic priorities, inform decision-making and improve HR practices.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to support organizational changes and ensure smooth transitions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in HRBP roles, preferably with a focus on retail or a similar industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Certifications: SHRM-SCP, PHR, or other relevant HR certifications are preferred.
