Position Overview
The Senior Manager of Data Analytics will optimize the Data Analytics strategy through effective Project Management of initiatives designed to provide robust reporting to all stakeholders. Working with the team, identify and develop data extraction processes resulting in effective and accurate data analysis and reporting, and provide insights on trends of statistical significance.
Responsibilities
- Owns the look and feel of all reporting and reporting portals Power BI or Customer Workbench). Leverage existing Microsoft tools (Power BI, SQL Server, .Net framework, ASP.net, C#) as the foundation for all customer-facing reporting. Responsible for own portfolio of projects, directly works on advanced design. Ensures overall security requirements are met for data handling/storage.
- Work directly with application owners to align to a single source of truth when developing reporting to support: KPIs, actionable insights, or performance scorecarding. Participates in large cross-functional projects and develops strategic customer dashboards to achieve company account retention goals.
- Supervises a team that analyzes and interprets information for one or more project work streams. Communicates strategies, goals, and objectives to deliver strategic organization business plans. Direct goal setting, performance feedback, measurement, and assessment of staff.
- Streamline daily reporting as needed based on operational requirements. Manipulate existing data to analyze key variances vs. established metrics. Systematize both production and delivery of reporting where possible. Deliver high-quality products to end users.
- Maintains roadmap of customer-driven enhancements to MS Power BI or Customer Workbench portals. Delivers high-quality products on time and maximizes the use of resources available. Manages resources wisely and is able to change priorities of the roadmap as business requirements evolve.

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar degree (Master's degree preferred)
- 7 years of experience in BI/Data Analytics
- Strong database design and programming skills, Microsoft T-SQL advanced skills.
- Experience in Microsoft database and BI technologies.
- Advanced data analysis and design skills, a solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, models, and techniques.
- Advanced data integration skills in Microsoft SSIS technology (required).
- Experienced in Agile/ Scrum (SDLC) methodology and tools.
- Experienced in Microsoft Power BI tools.
- Knowledge of Public Cloud Infrastructure (Applications and Data) is preferred.
- Retail industry experience is preferred.

Salary : $135,000 - $145,000
