About the Opportunity:

In this role, you’ll be working in the hospital-based behavioral health services department, providing vital support to patients and their families. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring patients receive the emotional and psychosocial assistance they need during their recovery.

Key Details:

• Location: Cumming, GA

• Shift: Evening shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM), 8-hour shifts

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• Start Date: 10/21/2024

• End Date: 12/14/2024

• Contract Type: Travel, Daily OT after 24 hours and Weekly OT after 40 hours

Qualifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia (required)

• BLS certification (required)

• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based social work experience (required)

• Must reside 50 miles from Cumming, GA (no local candidates)

As a Travel Social Worker, You Will:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients in the behavioral health setting

• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to patients and families

• Educate patients and families on community resources and post-discharge care options

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
