Registered Nurse - Behavioural Health - Richmond

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Shift:
• Days and nights available, rotating weekends
• Compensation:
• Base Pay: $31.55 - $37.56 - $45.07 (based on experience)
• Differentials:
• $6/hour for weekday nights
• $7/hour for weekend nights
• $5/hour for weekend days
• Relocation Assistance: $1,500
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000

Qualifications:

1. Certifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) within 60 days of employment

1. Licensure:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

1. Education:

• Diploma in Nursing (RN Diploma)

1. Experience:

• Open to Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) candidates interested in behavioral health

Job Summary:

• Be part of a nursing team providing direct care for patients in a renowned behavioral health facility with a history of serving the community for over 100 years.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team offering a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency behavioral health services across all age groups.
• Provide care in modern, renovated units.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, perform dressing changes, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Document and communicate patient conditions using computerized systems.
• Serve as the primary care coordinator, ensuring well-coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
• Oversee patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
