Front Desk Receptionist at Folsom Surgery Center
- Greet and check in patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and provide general information
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information upon arrival
- Collect co-pays and outstanding balances, and issue receipts as needed
- Schedule and confirm appointments, procedures, or follow-ups
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area
- Support administrative staff and clinical teams with clerical tasks as assigned
- Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and accuracy
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic scheduling
- Friendly, team-oriented, and dependable demeanor

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical terminology preferred

Hourly Wage Range: $23-25per hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
