Full Time Seasonal Golf Course Food and Beverage Manager position for the 2025 golf season. We expect the candidate will work 35 to 45 hours per week through the March to November golf season. Evening and weekend shifts will be common. Rolling Meadows offers a bar and grill menu with a full line of fermented malt beverages for sale.
Candidates will work with the Golf Course Manager to operate a food and beverage operation at the golf course. Duties may include but not be limited to:
- Manage daily operation of food and beverage services at the golf course including the bar and beverage cart operations.
- Recruit, recommend for hire, train and schedule food and beverage employees.
- Recommend, order and track inventory food, beverage and supply items.
- Recommend and produce menus for daily golfers and group outings and meetings.
- Operate and train employees on the point-of-sale systems for the bar, golf shop and beverage carts.
- Clean and organize work areas.
- Check in golfers and outings as needed.
Candidates should be able to:
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors and the public customers.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Obtain a bartender/operator license.
- Understand food safety rules and regulations and train co-workers on proper procedures and practices.
- Understand the game of golf and the golf course layout to schedule and train bar cart operators.
- Candidates should be 21 years old.
