What are the responsibilities and job description for the Call Center/PBX Operator MGT position at Fond du Lac Reservation?
- Responsibilities: Answers all incoming calls to the Hotel from internal and external callers, within 3 rings.
- Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
Responds to inquires such as directions and calls for assistance.
Accurately enters, reviews and confirms Hotel Reservations with guests.
Has a complete awareness and understanding of all promotions and specials.
Assists with wake up calls, inquires, dining reservations, etc.
Able to work under minimal supervision.
Transferring calls to proper extensions, operating voice mail systems.
Courteous and professional manner in all dealings with guests, vendors and other employees.
Welcomes hotel guests with a smile over the phone.
Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.
Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.
Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.
Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.
- Subject to inside environmental conditions, including working in a smoking environment.
Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.
Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
Knowledge of computer systems and word processing is required.
One year experience in relevant area and/or call center is preferred.
Ability to type 40 words per minute is preferred.
Previous switchboard experience preferred.
Previous hospitality related experience highly preferred.
Qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills.
Pleasant phone voice.
Ability to multi-task.
Great customer service skills must also have the initiative to work independently.
Must be available/flexible to work varying shifts.
Must be able to sit, stand or bend for the duration of shift.
Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.
Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation’s Personnel Policies.
Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks.
