POSITION OVERVIEW :
The Director of Systems Engineering will lead the design, implementation, and management of our complex systems infrastructure, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions that align with our business objectives. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strong technical background in systems engineering, experience with both on-premises and cloud-based environments, and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams, optimizing infrastructure performance, and implementing industry best practices in security and compliance. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions, manage vendor relationships, and ensure our systems are positioned to support the Company’s growth and technological advancement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and management of a high-performing systems engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance systems architecture that aligns with the organization’s business goals and technological needs.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s infrastructure and data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure for reliability, availability, and performance, implementing monitoring tools and techniques to proactively address potential issues.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation, develop strategic roadmaps, and implement new solutions that enhance systems capabilities and support business growth.
- Oversee the planning and execution of systems engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence, while managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to ensure quality service delivery.
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

This position supervises all positions that fall within the IT Systems department.
